START

Arrive at 12pm and load on.
An induction @ 2:00pm will be provided to you on how to drive the houseboat and use the facilities.
Then it’s bon voyage!

NIGHT #1 (Option 1)
MORGAN RIVERFRONT RESERVE
Just 15 minutes from the Marina

Makes for an easy first park on soft sand and a grassy bank… No stress and enough to build your houseboating confidence.
While at this site, you can take in a classic country pub meal, visit the Rail History & Morgan Museums and take a look at the Historic Wharf.

NIGHT #1 (Option 2)
MORGAN CONSERVATION PARK
30 minutes from the Marina

Also only a short trip, but gives you a good feel for the journey ahead! Plus you still want daylight to explore, relax and setup for your evening.
This location is teaming with local birdlife. Look for the regent parrots, pelicans and white-faced herons.

NIGHT #2
TAYLOR’S FLAT
3.5 – 4 hours

Also known as Wilson’s Sandbar… there are many good spots in this area and parking is easy.
Enjoy the views of the cliffs on other side of the river – especially as the sun sets for the golden hour.

NIGHT #3
NIKALAPKO
1 – 1.5 hours

Such a lovely location with a peaceful, bushy setting.  You’ll feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and loving it.  Easy options and parking is abundant with more beautiful cliffs on the other side.

NIGHT #4
MORGAN RIVERFRONT RESERVE or
MORGAN CONSERVATION PARK
2 – 2.5 hours

Somewhat the ‘Other Option to Night #1’.  Maybe you are ready for a night off at the pub!  Being close to the Marina, you have an easy return by 10am in the morning.
What great River Murray experience!
