A deposit of $500 is due at time of booking, with a $1,000 bond also payable.

Board from 12:00pm, show-out & departure at 2:00pm

Return by 10:00am on final day

Our Bonds are $1,000 per boat. Bonds are payable by way of Cash or Credit Card on the day of hire and will be refunded within 14 days of completion of hire minus the fuel used, any ice/wood and damages etc.

The balance of the hire fee is payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival.

You need to bring all personal belongings, toilet paper, toiletries, swimming towels, food, drinks, and condiments. There are some games, DVDs, and books on board but you’re most welcome to bring your own too! Kitchens are fully equipped with microwaves, ovens, and cooktops for general cooking and a BBQ outside. You are welcome to bring specialty cooking appliances etc. just let us know when we see you if you’ve brought any along and we can confirm power usage.

All linen, under kitchen-sink liquids, cloths, bin liners are provided, along with alfoil, glad wrap, and a few rolls of toilet paper per toilet.

We have secure parking on Private Property for your vehicles and trailers. There is no charge for this.

If you are 21 or more and have a current driver’s license. Our modern boats are surprisingly easy to drive. On your day of arrival, we will go through a briefing, and take you for an instructional helpful drive showing tips on cruising and mooring.

You do need to show competency to take the houseboat on the river, if you are not deemed competent then you will need to stay at the marina, it is our duty of care.

There is plenty of filtered fresh Morgan town water or Filtered Rainwater depending on availability onboard. We do recommend for anyone particular with the taste of their water to bring their own boxed water along. River water is used for everything else.

We need to know how you would like the bedrooms to be set up on your boat to accommodate the sleeping requirements. Some beds can be moved apart to become singles so we need to know what configuration you would like.

Fuel usage and costs differ from boat to boat depending on many variables like duration, usage style, generator/solar etc. The price is determined by the current price from our local bowser on your return day. Check with us for approximate usage and cost.

The houseboat is insured. Providing the terms and conditions of hire are adhered to, the insurance excess is $5,000. Wilful or negligent damage is not covered by insurance, and you will be charged.
